Payment Terms
1. Introduction
These Payment Terms govern all payment-related aspects of using the JobFein platform. By using our payment services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making any payments or receiving payments through our platform.
2. Payment Methods
2.1 Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
- PayPal
- Bank Transfers
- Digital Wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
2.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through our secure payment gateway. We do not store your complete payment information on our servers. Payment processing is handled by our trusted payment service providers.
3. Platform Fees
3.1 Service Fees
- Client Fee: 5% of the project value
- Freelancer Fee: 10% of earnings
- Processing Fee: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
3.2 Fee Structure
Fees are automatically calculated and deducted from payments. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law. We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with 30 days notice.
4. Payment Process
4.1 For Clients
- Funds are held in escrow until project completion
- Payment is released upon project approval
- Multiple payment milestones can be set for larger projects
- Automatic payment processing for recurring projects
4.2 For Freelancers
- Earnings are available after project completion
- Minimum withdrawal amount: $50
- Processing time: 2-5 business days
- Available withdrawal methods: Bank Transfer, PayPal
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Refund Eligibility
- Project not started within 7 days
- Service not delivered as agreed
- Technical issues preventing service delivery
- Fraudulent activity
5.2 Refund Process
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of payment. We will review each request individually and process eligible refunds within 5-10 business days. Platform fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Disputes and Chargebacks
- Disputes must be filed through our platform first
- Chargebacks may result in account suspension
- We reserve the right to withhold funds during disputes
- False chargebacks may result in legal action
7. Currency and Exchange Rates
All transactions are processed in USD. For international transactions, exchange rates are determined by your payment provider. We are not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations or fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
8. Tax Obligations
- Users are responsible for their own tax obligations
- We provide annual tax statements for eligible users
- International users must comply with their local tax laws
- We may be required to report earnings to tax authorities
9. Security and Fraud Prevention
We implement various security measures to protect against fraud and unauthorized transactions. We may hold or delay payments for security verification. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account and payment information.
10. Changes to Payment Terms
We may update these Payment Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via email and platform notifications at least 30 days in advance.
